- Where can I find Lion Brewery brands in my town?
To find Lion Brewery products in your town, visit the “products” tab and click on “How to Find Us.” Wholesalers of Lion Brewery products are listed by state and display the counties that they cover. Feel free to call the wholesaler nearest you to ask where to purchase our beers. - Does The Lion give tours of the Brewery?
Yes, The Lion Brewery gives tours on selected Saturdays at 1 pm, by reservation only. Please visit the Tours tab to get more details. - I’ve noticed games or puzzle pieces under my soda and beer caps. Have I won something?
Yes! You’ve won the great taste of a hand-crafted Lion Brewery product! The puzzle pieces were placed under Lion products for our consumers’ enjoyment. If you’ve spent time huddled around the kitchen table trying to solve the puzzle, that’s what we wanted! Puzzle caps are found under a selected number of Lion Brewery products. Please email info@lionbrewery.com to get the answers! Please provide us with the number under the cap and we’ll send the answer. - Do you provide labels and/or crowns of your beers to collectors?
Yes. The Lion Brewery provides beer labels to interested collectors (in the United States only) upon written request, a self-addressed stamped envelope, and $2.00 for shipping and handling. Your requests can be mailed to: The Lion Brewery, 700 North Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705. Please mark: “attention Public Relations Department.” Requests received without proper postage, handling charges or addresses will not be filled or returned. - What happened to the Brewery Hill line?
In May 2002, The Lion transformed the Brewery Hill line. We redesigned the package to identify more with the Pocono Mountain area that we live in and re-released it as Pocono Lagers & Ales. Our recipe has not changed; it is the same award-winning beer. - Do you still brew traditional beers like Gibbons?
Yes. The Lion still brews most of its traditional brands including Gibbons, Stegmaier, and Bartels. These brands are available in Pennsylvania in 16-ounce returnable bottles. Stegmaier is also available in 12-ounce bottles as well. - What is a keg/barrel of beer equivalent to?
A barrel of beer is equivalent to 13.778 cases of 24/12-ounce bottles. A 1/2 keg of beer equals 6.88 cases of beer and a 1/4 keg equals 3.4 cases of beer. - Does The Lion Brewery have a Brewpub or Restaurant?
No. At this time, The Lion Brewery does not have a brewpub or restaurant.
